Carlotta Alfonsi is a Policy Analyst in the OECD’s Open Government Unit, where she focuses on the role of public communication and information ecosystems to support better polices and governance. Her research includes analysis of responses to mis- and disinformation and the transformation of the communication function since the COVID-19 pandemic. She coordinates the OECD’s international network of public communication practitioners, to which she brings her previous experience in the private sector. She holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics.
