Fadi Farasin

Fadi Farasin is the Assistant Director General of The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) which is a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Farasin is a seasoned international development professional with two decades of cross-sectoral experience in a variety of contexts including humanitarian aid, crisis prevention and recovery, international mediation and conflict resolution, and economic and social development in developing countries. He has articles published in international refereed journals, in addition to analysis and reports published by international institutions and research centers. He also has written Op-eds for the Daily Sabah and the Washington based The Hill.
